How do we turn an idea into a product in the webshop?
Step 1 - From idea to vector file
We first convert the design we have in mind into a vector image on the computer.
A vector image is a graphic representation made up of simple geometric objects, such as points, lines, curves, polygons, etc. Complex shapes are created by combining these basic shapes. The image is described by the formulas of the objects. This allows vector images to be enlarged to any size without any loss of quality. This is in contrast to a raster or bitmap image, where individual pixels on the digital canvas are colored separately. The resolution for the chosen scale is then fixed, which causes the image to become blurry or pixelated when enlarged.

We use different colors so that we can later distinguish what needs to be engraved or cut out when executing the job on the laser cutter. Each color can have different parameters, allowing us to perform different operations with a single job.
Step 2 - Testing our design
Once the vector image has been created, we need to make the design with our laser cutter to see how it looks in reality.
Step 3 - Tweaking the design
After our "test print", we assemble the parts and check whether the cutting and engraving meet our requirements. If they do not, we adjust the design and repeat the process from step 2.
Step 4 - Photographing the item
If everything is as we had imagined, we need to photograph the item so that we can place it in our webshop.
Step 5 - Placing the item on the website
Once we have all the information, such as the name, description, photos, and of course the price of the item, we can place everything in our webshop.
Step 6 - Advertising
We naturally cannot forget this last step, because what is a webshop and a new product if you don't advertise it.
